The expedition

Conservation
On-board talks on the species encountered, the environment and the challenges of protecting them, led by two naturalist guides committed to responsible ecotourism and the conservation of the environment. Within this framework, participants are invited to contribute actively to the photo-identification of the oceanic manta rays observed: each shot of these animals' unique belly pattern is submitted to participatory scientific databases, making it possible to track individual movements, estimate populations and feed long-term research programmes on this vulnerable species.
